We often spend our weekends camping, hiking, mountain biking or adventure racing with our kids and dogs.  When we travel, we prefer driving so we can explore the countryside on the way to our destination.  With the traveling we have done, we are just amazed at the amount of waste, especially plastic bags, along our roadsides and in our parks.

Last year, while traveling in Australia, we were impressed at the country's focus on preservation of the environment.  In Coles Bay, Tasmania, we found a ban on plastic bags.  Shoppers are required to bring their own bags to carry their groceries out of the store.  We bought some reusable bags while we where there and quickly got used to bringing them with us for all of our shopping trips.

After returning home to the US, we grew frustrated at the lack of availability of affordable, reusable shopping bags.  We were tired of the abundance of plastic bags everywhere and the lack of recycling options.  We try to reuse our plastic bags from stores for other purposes, but we'll never go on enough road trips or dog walks to consume them as on-the-fly garbage bags.  We started selling reusable shopping bags to help reduce plastic bag consumption, and thus help save the environment, one trip to the store at a time!

Our goal is to provide high quality, reusable shopping bags at an economical price that makes it easy for anyone to make the switch away from plastic bags.
